A funny story

So earlier today, I made a comment on a video regarding the 2014 Godzilla movie, saying that at the time of it's release I really liked it, still do, but that I thought King of the Monsters was a massive improvement.

Somebody then replied to my comment, saying how despite his disagreements, he respects my opinion regardless of his own feelings on the movie, and is glad someone was able to find enjoyment in it.

I'm just kidding, here's what he actually wrote:

Oh you’re serious? The atmospheric, well paced, and well shot 2014 movie was worse than the mind numbing garbage that was KOTM? And don’t say “it’s a Godzilla movie! What do you expect?”
When a different studio and crew is making it I’d like it if the writing wasn’t so piss poor. Or if the action was any good. Or the monsters had any of the personality seen in the originals. Or if the color grading wasn’t crap. Or if the characters were likable. Or if the humor wasn’t so unfunny.

But yeah. 2014’s beautiful music, cinematography, sound design, and pacing were worse than that.
