Make that TWO 'in-between' chapters for my "A Giant Adventure to Equestria" story are being written · 11:08pm Jul 19th, 2019
Thanks to more input about something else I've been thinking about, in addition to the "new" chapter six of my "A Giant Adventure to Equestria" story that's in the process of being written, a second "in-between chapter is now also being written for it. The second one would take later in the story between the "current" chapters 14 and 15, and would be about a huge moment that really should've gotten its own chapter. With the "new" chapter six, this second in-between chapter will be chapter 16.
To put it more simply(?): after the "new" chapter six is in, the "current" chapter 14 will become chapter 15, the second new chapter will be chapter 16, and the "current" chapter 15 will become chapter 17. That would make this story go from a 16-chapter story to an 18-chapter one.
Because nothing will be added after the final chapter so the ending will be unaffected, I will publish both new chapters at the same time, and will do the necessary edits to the chapters they're between right before I do.
Like I said before, there will be no true ret-cons to the story. But the beginning and/or end of chapters near the "new" chapters, such as the start of the "current" chapter six, will look different than they do at the time of the blog. I may make some lines or sentences look a bit better elsewhere, thanks to the writing experience I have now, compared to what I had when I first wrote the story. However, nothing about the story itself will truly be changed.
Between writing both chapters, as well working on chapter four of "When Dating Advice Doesn't Work...' story -- chapter three of it will be out in a few days -- It will be a while before the two in-between chapters will be ready to be published. I currently have two more story ideas that I'm not yet working on, so I won't have to worry about "what should I try to write next" for a while!
