Which IS BETTER?

So recently I have had an empty story with merley a title Balance On a Divine Scale so I had two different Ideas I would like to hear your opinions please comment which is better.

Option 1 a story where a man with split personality is displaced with each personality having its own body so one is the "Divine Evil" or the only vilain that truly cannot be destroyed, manipulated or converted away from evil as to keep balance. The second one is the "Divine Champion" A mortal with godly powers that can seal, but not destroy the evil one.

Option 2: a person displaced as the god of evil, but does it merely so nothing more evil can destroy Equestria so he's polite and normal, but he has to create evil as is his job that he cannot escape. In order to sate evil in the world without harming others he creates a land known as "The 5th Continent" Where are villainy can exist without destroying others. However, some have recently escape and so now he must come out of hiding and explain everything. All the while preparing a champion to smite the evil he is forced to create.

Are either good?
