Someday, I'll stop writing silly comedy stories. However, today isn't "someday".

Future stories update & the return of "Director's Cut"s

It's been about a month since I submitted 'One of Them' and I had planned on having my next story out by now; my last blog even had a vote on what would be the next two stories. But as to why they are awol?

Delay on Starlight Glimmer story & future story voting time (again)

I'll cut to the chase: I was planning to release a special Starlight story for this year's Starlight Glimmer Day (today) which I had mentioned in some past blogs. It had been partly written for weeks now, and I was going to resume and finish it in time for Glim Glam's day.

Long time coming, but here's a sneak peek at the next story + hints for the next story!

I meant to have my next story, "A Hearts and Hooves Day Mystery" out 2 if not 3 weeks ago but I was hit with a writing motivation problem (in which I had very little:rainbowlaugh:) so I had to wait until it passed. Thankfully, it has, and my next one-shot story is planned to be out on either Friday or the weekend.

Once again, vote for the next story

I'm trying to decide what my next story will be, but since I have several options and can't make up my mind (again), I'm letting you choose. Just like the last blog where I held a vote, there will be 3 options; one of which was one of the choices in the last voting.

    Here are the choices!

Final chapter of "Pinkie & Eric's Bonding Jungle Trip" is out!

As the title of this blog says, the 3rd and last chapter of "Pinkie & Eric's Bonding Jungle Trip" is now out! At just over 10,400 words, this story is by far the longest story I've written that only had 2 characters in it unless you count the bears from chapter 2 with the second-longest story (An Alicorn, a Human, and a Teacup) only having 2,262 words. If I didn't write a 4th

Director's Cut: Twilight's Bookless Week (Celestia Help Us!!) Chapter 3: To Catch An Alicorn · 12:42am Jul 3rd, 2019

This was one of the hardest chapters for a story I've written up to this point. I had trouble trying to think of what to have Twilight do and keep the chapter from getting out of hand, and is the reason it took about a month to publish it after I published chapter 2: up to this point it was never longer than 2 weeks in-between chapters for my stories. along with all the stories' chapters, chapter 3 of the Twilight freak-out story had the most edits and partial rewrites.

Originally, in the beginning of the chapter, with the others trying to find her, Twilight gave "baths" to ponies on the streets of Ponyville before she got to the building where she gave more ponies "baths", but I edited out the baths on the streets. This was also when a pony was going to threaten to contact Princess Celestia making Eric become nervous and want more than ever to stop Twilight but it was edited out.

Another change was that the "Ex-Wet Eight" originally tried to lure Twilight to the Spa because of the "mud" there that Twilight might come to clean, but I moved it to Applejack's farm, and also had Pinkie act as "bait" to draw Twilight to the farm; originally, there was no "bait" for Twilight and she just came on her own, and the other characters expected it. How the "soapstorm" Twilight created was is another change: It was originally like a "tidal wave" and I changed it to how it is now.

Yet another edit was how Twilight was caught and stopped during tag. Originally, it didn't happen in the castle, and characters popped out one by one to chase Twilight, steer her into a room with Eric, and he was going to be the one to put the anti-magic ring on Twilight's horn as she ran by him, and he would jump on her back to get the ring on her horn.

This version of the plan also had the chase last ten minutes because the idea was also to tire out Twilight so Eric could get the ring on her horn. But I later simplified it to the version it is now, had the chase happen in the castle, and had most of the gang surprise and hold down Twilight, so there was no reason to "tire her out".
