Life, Stories & Everything! · 3:34am Jul 1st, 2019
I'm so busy lately I just don't have any time to do proper Takka Takka Takkas, so I'll give you the short version today!
First of all, you FINALLY get a launch date for Teahouses of Saddle Arabia!
Teahouses launches Monday, July 8 at 10 AM Pacific!
Yup. Next Wavelengths story! It's finally happening! I'm not going to tease any more about this story. It's time to let it do its own thing.
Second, I've decided to resurrect an old story that's not mine. For those that remember, I launched the SunLight Sliders II collaboration project back at the beginning of January 2018. Ironically, SLS2 caused me a massive amount of stress and eventually contributed somewhat to The Quiet War.
At it stands now, SLS2 remains sitting, all but forgotten, in the SunLight Sliders group and can only be read through the forums. I've spent the last week or so working on the story, importing it from everyone's hard work (which included colored text, resized text, entire chapters of comics and more). I've also written a new Epilogue that still aligns with Posh's final chapter but makes it a bit brighter.
Finally, I'm rebranding SunLight Sliders II into SunLight Sliders: Infinite. Since you don't actually need to read SLS1 to read SLS2, I didn't want newcomers to avoid it.
I know some have a lot of mixed emotions on this story. I admit I do as well. I'm publishing this because I promised I would. I'm also doing it so it doesn't remain forgotten, because there were some truly epic sequences (all of the comic pieces, for example). And... it needs to be done.
SLS: Infinite will launch LATER THIS WEEK.
Finally, the housing situation. Things have become more complicated for me and mine. While we have an offer to help us, it's still not enough. I'm not going to hammer you all with all the donation stuff, only my Patreon. I've already had to take a side job to try and make this work and it's looking iffy. So yeah, I'm asking again. Every dollar helps.
Please.
That's it for now. I'll probably start doing shorter blogs considering how with my side job, I'm now working from 7AM to 11PM. It's brutal, but it's necessary. But you folks are wonderful and you deserve to know what's going on.
Have fun!

Good to hear SLS2 will see the light of day. I'm still proud of being able to get out something coherent enough for others to build on while couchridden with the flu.
Also, I find myself wondering what Moondancer and Apple Bloom could be talking about.
