My Little Pony Season 9 News 06/16/2019

GOOD MORNING, FIMFICTION FANATICS!!! This is the Dramamaster829; Critic, Actor, Writer, Motivational Speaker, and Occasional Singer, keeping you up to date with the latest news for the final season of MLP! As we near the mid-season hiatus and the upcoming 'Rainbow Roadtrip' special set to air near the end of this month, as I'm preparing this week's review over last weekend's episode I've stumbled upon some rather interesting news regarding the second half of the season. No official titles have been named at this time but each synopsis has brought in some intriguing input for which the fans will have something to look forward to. Now without any further ado, let's dive in to what the second season has to offer.

Our first headline has the School of Friendship announcing the start of their own Buckball team after several instances in which the sport was introduced to the FIM Universe (And even that one episode this season that dived into the subject of blended family which aired earlier). While we would think it would make sense for ponies like Rainbow Dash to coach this new team, considering she missed out on watching two of her friends play just to visit some museums, turns out some other pony might be coaching the team and if we know Rainbow Dash she's not going to take this news lightly. Much like a certain farm pony that we've known for years, Rainbow Dash has a tendency to be 'very' stubborn and more often than not she tends to make some hasty decisions in order to get what she wants (Like the time she caused an accident in the Weather Factory just so Tank wouldn't hibernate). Chances are: Rainbow Dash must come to terms with the idea that she's not always going to have a certain job even if she seems the most qualified because there will always be other ponies to be entrusted to even take a 'coaching' job preferably for their methods that are deemed suitable for the students. Especially if it turns out one of Dash's friends ends up getting the coaching job instead of her, but to be fair since she's already balancing between a Wonderbolt and a school teacher, I would think it would be too much to balance out even if she was considered a coaching position.

A long awaited Pinkie Pie episode for the new season has our favorite 'Party Pony' trying to find her life purpose and so her journey leads to seek help from her super-silly old compadre, Cheese Sandwich, only to discover the unimaginable has happened. What that issue might be remains to be determined at this time, but if we can draw our attention back to Pinkie Pie who is trying to discover her life purpose, maybe it begs the question as to whether she wants to spend the rest of her life throwing parties for ponies or if she really has a fallback 'career' she can go to when she decides she wants more. In all the years, Pinkie Pie has always stayed with the Cakes as if they are some extended family (Though no relation has been determined), she mostly tries to make everypony happy rather than focusing on her own satisfaction, and apart from working at the school, she really doesn't have much of a 'career' whereas her friends already make a living in some form (Twilight Sparkle is practically a princess, but she still works at running a school). While trying to figure out what the show wants to do with Pinkie (Since the fans have assumed they just want to make her silly or nonsensical just for laughs), we have to wonder what could have happened to Cheese Sandwich who seems just as crazy yet fun as her... One possible assumption is that he decided to take a break from being a wanderer throwing parties in town and deciding to take a *gasp* 'serious' career move. Overall, since the announcement of Weird Al's return to the MLP series, we've been anxious to see what the crew were going to do with him while the season approaches the end now we are finally going to see this story come to light.
