I Ate A Purple Unicorn Today (Oh, And Posted A New Story Too!)

So I devoured a purple unicorn today. And you can too! Rita's Italian Ice just introduced a new flavor called 'unicorn' so I had to try it. It's supposedly a blend of strawberry & cotton candy, and it's pretty good. It's not going to knock Swedish Fish out of my top spot, but it's certainly worth having again.

Anyways, so about my latest story. First of all, many thanks to Alex Warlorn for pre-reading. When it comes to previous generation ponies, there aren't a lot of folks I can ask to be guinea pigs pre-read.

A little more background about this story: it was originally intended to be a chapter in a different story entitled The 13 Villains of Daring Do, where Minty opens the sealed evil in a can chest, and unwittingly unleashes thirteen of the most powerful G1 villains back into Equestria. Then Tirek showed up in season 4 and the whole story went on the back burner. And of course the Smooze and Grogar have shown up in subsequent seasons. Tirek and Grogar are the biggest bads of G1, making it pointless to pass off second string villains as more menacing than the two of them. Start with the second stringers and work your way up to the big guns, but without the big guns there's no story.

So instead I decided to write this as a one shot (now with bonus trial chapter!). Expect one-shots featuring at least two (and possibly three) of the other G1 villains at some point in the future.
