I'm at work, bored as fuck right? A co-worker of mine suggests a dnd one-off to pass the time. Dude always brings his dice and paper 'cause he's a fuckin' nerd—so am I, but that's beside the point—and I figured, fuck it, place doesn't pick up until like 8 (it was 5 at the time) anyway, so why not. Right?
Anyway, we're going along and suddenly, it hits me. Why the fuck don't I do something like that, a create-your-own-adventure/die game type thing, but written word form? Y'all decide your choices—most liked comment is the one I go with, I roll a d20 (or a d-whatever, depending upon the circumstances) and that's the decided factor for the chapters and whatnot.
I may or may not incorporate it into "The Great and Powerful... Gamer?" after chapter 2, basically turn Trixie into a meta-ing sumbitch granted, it's basically already meta as fuck, innit. Checking "NPC" stats and whatnot all the while. As I mentioned earlier, I'm new to the whole "Gamer" genre and don't know how it's supposed to work, so I dunno if I'm even allowed to do this sorta thing.
May not, as in might make a new story entirely for it. All depending on how y'all feel about it.
That's it for this thing, talk to y'all later!
Whatever,
Lack of Tact
I, too, carry my dice around with me everywhere.
Whatever story you decide to use this idea with, I'm interested.
sound like fun
