New year? Already? Really? Happy new year!

Nah I'm kidding, but 2020 really is coming closer to ending. I want to start up the new year by working on my van. Gonna try and make the damn thing more livable lmfao, I'm kidding. I'm converting an ol' Ford '89 Econoline into a minicamper and I wanna see it through!

Gotta lil something in the works for you guys

I'm a horror enthusiast, I love a good spine tingler. Obviously I'm reaching out on the genre spectrum and aside from Equine Isolation, I hadn't furrowed into it much.

That's all gonna change with an upcoming one-shot! apparently fucking multichapter story! I wanna try and delve into darker bits just as much as I wanna dive into romcoms, legit!

so i lost my job, im homeless, but i gotta van!

Hey doods, twilightsmile speaking but of course.

So, sometime earlier I'd mentioned I'd say why I'm back with a more fuller-time approach. I'd recently been let go from my last employer and have been kinda struggling to land back on my feet. It's all fine though! I don't mean to say I'm worried or anything, or that I'm even fearful for the matter.

okay, so ah, while i'm ahead, i wanna let you guys know

So! With the new year comes new me, yada-yada, all that bs. I thought that, since I'm actually trying to write a tid more seriously--I'll explain my reasoning on why I'm even back to a fuller extent later--I might, eh, might as well drop the alias "Lack of Tact," finally.

I mean, not like I'll never not have a lack of tact. I'm that, but personified.

I'm at work, bored as fuck right? A co-worker of mine suggests a dnd one-off to pass the time. Dude always brings his dice and paper 'cause he's a fuckin' nerd—so am I, but that's beside the point—and I figured, fuck it, place doesn't pick up until like 8 (it was 5 at the time) anyway, so why not. Right?

Anyway, we're going along and suddenly, it hits me. Why the fuck don't I do something like that, a create-your-own-adventure/die game type thing, but written word form? Y'all decide your choices—most liked comment is the one I go with, I roll a d20 (or a d-whatever, depending upon the circumstances) and that's the decided factor for the chapters and whatnot.

I may or may not incorporate it into "The Great and Powerful... Gamer?" after chapter 2, basically turn Trixie into a meta-ing sumbitch granted, it's basically already meta as fuck, innit. Checking "NPC" stats and whatnot all the while. As I mentioned earlier, I'm new to the whole "Gamer" genre and don't know how it's supposed to work, so I dunno if I'm even allowed to do this sorta thing.

May not, as in might make a new story entirely for it. All depending on how y'all feel about it.

That's it for this thing, talk to y'all later!

Whatever,

Lack of Tact

I, too, carry my dice around with me everywhere.

Whatever story you decide to use this idea with, I'm interested.
