My Favorite Story of Jesus · 1:19am Apr 18th, 2019
While we may argue if Jesus was Divine or not He was certainly a man of high moral principles as is demonstrated in the following story.
But the people there refused to welcome Him, because He was heading for Jerusalem. 54When the disciples James andJohn saw this, they asked, “Lord, do You want us to call down firefrom heaven to consume them?” 55But Jesus turned and rebuked them,…
No one can be forced to come to the Divine Source. Each soul is in its own stage of the spiritual journey. Many extremists, most of the Muslim variety, attempt to convert by force-and shamefully some Christians have as well. However, the truth of Jesus is that God is love and light. Only love can draw us to that Divine Source which is love.
And yet here we are over two thousand years later and there are an awful lot of Christians who can't seem to imagine a day going by without declaring that Holy Retribution is in store for basically anyone they consider Un-Christian or not Christian enough.
It's actually both fascinating and concerning to me that Christ is somehow the least important person to so many Christians.
Disciples: Lord, shall we burn them to death?
Jesus: STFU, scrubs!
Also, my favorite story of Jesus has to be the apocryphal one in which he fixes his stepdad's fail!

Well if you consider them completely fictional the stories of Jesus still had to be really, really good. After all they managed to capture the hearts and minds of millions of people for 2000 years.
