So, no real work done on anything creative right now, my dudes. Still working through my shit. Getting a lot of therapy, but unfortunately the "greater situation" I'm dealing with is both existential, ongoing, and an annoyingly hot topic right now, so it's an uphill battle.

Hello, everybody. Long time no... well... anything really.
It's been exactly one year since I've given anybody here any blog whatsoever, and that was just a quick Christmas gag. It's been even longer since I've actually given anybody any updates on any of my stories or what's going on in my life.
How is it fair that this Joker guy gets to bring a gun to Smash but Snake doesn't get to use his trademark SOCOM? I thought the reason he had all those finicky explosive moves was 'cuz guns weren't allowed, Nintendo! Why you gotta do Snake dirty like that?

If I remember correctly in Brawl, Snake had an RPG Launcher, which is technically a gun.
Maybe it's because Joker's gun isn't based on a real model? I haven't seen a closeup of it to check this. Bayonetta gets to keep her guns because they're fanciful and easily distinguishable from real guns, which might be the case with Joker.

I'm pretty sure the RPG-7 (which is the type he uses from Metal Gear Solid 3) is classified as a Rocket Launcher, not a gun. I'm not a military or firearm expert, though, so I can't really say for certain.

From what i can remember hand guns are illegal but rifle and shotguns are legal with the proper permits.

Just checked the rules you need a permit in japan the own a gun and even then you can only own shotguns hunting rifles or airguns handguns are illeagal in japan so that only cops and millatery can carry them and even then not all cops carry guns in japan.
On averahe to total number of deaths by gun in japan anually is only around 10 people.
