Whinny City Pony Con Reminder Post

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT CONVENTION POST- ALL CONVENTION-SAVVY PONIES, PAY ATTENTION

As you all know, Whinny City Pony Con 2019 is THIS WEEKEND! This is my 'hometown' con so to speak (I grew up 20 mins from the venue) and I'm so jacked that it's finally here! So, that being said, I have lots to say about attending, so if you're going or even thinking about going, here it is:

1. If you're still on the fence about going, GO. You won't regret it; Charlie runs a great con!
2. I have a panel on writing Pony Fanfiction that runs from 8:30 to 9:30pm on Friday 4/5 in the Deep Dish Room- swing on by for fun and games (and instruction).
3. I also figured out a way to sell handmade pony-themed scented candles through a vendor; if you see them, take a sniff and buy them if you like!
4. There's also a beer event on Friday that's LIT; I scored one of the limited tickets this year, and if you can buy one off of someone I highly suggest it!
5. I'm going to be at the Writer's meetup on Saturday, so if you're a fanfic writer (an old friend of mine or a never-before-seen pony writer), pull through and say hi to everyone!
6. I'll be around all weekend jamming to pony music (GENERAL MUMBLE IS PLAYING!!!), making ill-advised vendor hall purchases, and the like, so come and say hi if you see me!

If I miss your Friday panel I’ll catch you at the Saturday meetup! I’m hoping that we can get out there for at least some of Friday, though we may not roll in until super late because my wife has to work. We got her a beer tasting ticket though, so that’s motivation!
