Hello everyone. I hope that the day finds you well.
The purpose of this post is to inform you that the following chapter is going to be delayed slightly. Understand that this comes not from a lack of desire to write. Rather, the majority of the reason behind is due to the fact, as I was writing the next chapter, I felt myself becoming more and more complacent with it, and I realized that I was actually getting. . . bored I guess from working on it for so long. Not to mention, there have been some stressful events going on irl right now that have had a profound impact on my priorities. Nothing to the point where it distracts me altogether, but I will be taking a break from Eventide for a little bit, working on other bits of literature, maybe read a book or something, and generally just try to relax for a bit.
I've actually been interested in trying my hand at a comment-driven story. You know, something to just keep me in the flow of writing, as well as give me some more ideas and experience with reader feedback.
Rest assured that my temporary reprieve from Eventide will not be a long one. About a week at most, and most of the chapter is already done anyway, so I should be able to knock it out rather quickly once I get back to it.
