And here I thought Canterlot Bambi was pushing it, then I go and try to do two perspectives in one episode. Good grief.
So, there it is, the moment you've all been waiting for where I actually give a little bit of context as to what in the actual fuck is going on in Star Overhead. With any luck, all these revelations will have more questions replace them, most of which will never be answered. (Which really means the answer is buried somewhere in an earlier chapter or one to come.) Also, our last major character was introduced, so finally got that squared away.
What in the actual fuck is going on? Well... that is a good question. The thing I've learned about life more recently and part of my drive to write this story is that life is complicated, and no matter which way you turn it, there's always a new angle to look at it from. No two relationships are the same, no two people are the same, and with the right push, anybody can work up the resolve to do something bad. The real question is; what is Celestia doing? Find out next... well, no actually, you won't be doing that. The chord is not yet complete, so we'll get no overarching revelations until that's done. And if you think something in this chapter hinted at what happens next, you're probably wrong. Unless you're right, at which point, good on ya. I've honestly been debating on putting the mystery tag on this because now that I look at it, this is very much built like a proper mystery story. The pieces are already there, and once I show you the right angle, after we get the last few pieces of course, you should be able to see the big picture. The story, in truth, is fairly simple. Easy plotline to understand, hidden under a mountain of convoluted bullshit, just like life. And that's how we like it.
Anyways, I would've cut this crap in actual half and posted it in two pieces... if I hadn't set a restriction on myself. 7 chapters, no more, no less. the next chapter will also be one piece no matter the length, but I certainly won't be doing this again. Twilight will have the final chapter, and I may even give her a part in chapter 6 to narrate, but the next one is going to be similar to Canterlot Bambi in that one character will get pretty much all of it. but I totally plan on screwing with my own formula here, so good luck. I hope you're enjoying the ride. I'm a week off schedule thanks to the last Super Chapter, but I'm going to try and catch up with my ass a bit here and not let myself waste a day again. I don't want this running beyond April, but if the first week of May is my last SO chapter, then so be it.
That's all from me. There should be a Super chapter soon, and a Star Chapter to follow it. The next two chapters for both stories should be easy to write (not that this one was hard, I just needed to get two chapters worth of info in there), so look forward to it.
