Dumbo (2019) Official Trailer Review · 4:42pm Mar 11th, 2019
Originally, I was going to use this post to review “The Mummy Returns” to directly follow with my latest review. However, I was inspired today to do something pretty different, which was to do my very first trailer review. And today, I’ll be reviewing the official trailer for the live-action Dumbo.
Take a look:
I don’t really watch very many of Tim Burton’s films, nor am I the biggest fanatic of Disney’s live-action remake bonanza, with the exceptions of The Jungle Book (2016), Maleficent (2014), Cinderella (2015), and Pete’s Dragon (2016). But, this movie looks like it’ll be awesome!
From the looks of it, everybody put a lot of effort in making sure this’ll be fantastic, and I can definitely see that this won’t be some kind of carbon copy of the original animated classic, unlike the Beauty and the Beast film released in 2017. I definitely can’t wait to see this film at some point, and if my hunch is correct, this will be the very best remake to come out this year, outcompeting the live-action Lion King and Aladdin in a throw-down!
What do you guys think?
I will say this it looks like the film is gonna be its own thing rather then doing the story all over again
Yes! I'm not the only one who likes the Cinderella remake!

What do you think of this trailer? As well as the fact that there’s a live-action Dumbo coming?
I think I saw this trailer before. Really curious to see how it will pan out.
Jungle Book 2016 was pretty good. Didn't see a whole lot of Pete's Dragon, but I thought it was funny that Claire Dearing and Dr. McCoy were in it.

It's strangely moving. It honestly looks leagues better than the ones for Aladdin and Lion King. Out of the three of them, Aladdin's seems the most lackluster.

Yay. I can definitely see that.
And the upcoming Lion King film just seems like it’s going to be some carbon copy of the original.
Carbon Copy?

The term means “cheaply similar”.

Looks like this story had kids as main characters besides our very elephant. That's something. Hope it's very different.
