Mind you, Dead by Sunset is pretty rough if I’m honest. But Adagio’s Lament is probably the cleanest, clearest self-contained story I’ve written. It’s followup, Sisterhood Sonata is strong but not early as impactful, I think.

I wrote the entirety of Lament in one long sitting of writing because it flowed so well, and to this day I only feel like I did the same quality of work in certain chapters of my stories, but nothing as self-contained and unique as how I feel Adagio's Lament turned out.
