Struggling, but Managing · 3:15am Feb 20th, 2019

Hey, guys! I said I wasn't gonna be dead, and I'm not dead now, even though I really, truly, seriously feel like I am right now :twilightsheepish:.

This past month-and-a-half has been a fat blur. I've been doing really well in fixing my lifestyle, such as keeping a consistent bullet journal and sticking with intermittent fasting plans as well as making a somewhat regular schedule for myself. However, I'm in a little bit of a fickle-funk right now. I am currently lying in bed, with a bowl of chicken Ramen noodles and a plate of plain toast and saltine crackers and ice water sitting next to me, because this is the second time in the past month that I've been brought down my stomach issues/a stomach virus and it is kicking. My. Ass. :pinkiesick: :twilightsheepish:. As it always does for me, it came out of nowhere in the middle of my morning classes at school today, and I've had to call out sick of musical rehearsal earlier today and really power through the rest of the day if only to avoid make-up work, because, ha, ya gurl hates make-up work :rainbowlaugh:. The bug's been coming and going all day - as of right now, it's pretty tame, but I know I'm not out of the woods yet. Fortunately, there is no school tomorrow due to incoming snow, so I can have a day of catch-up, rest-up.

I know plenty of people who have a really high tolerance for stomach issues, but while I have a high tolerance for many things health-related, my stomach is not one of them. I blame it all on the really crappy nanny I had as a toddler who let me eat dirt and therefore allow me to welcome parasites into my stomach, which I very much believe that is a leading reason as to why I feel like actual death whenever my stomach's sick :pinkiesick: :rainbowlaugh:. I'm trying my best, you guys, I really am. Progress on the new chapters for "One of the Guys" is coming along nicely, if not slowly, mostly just because these past few weeks I've been dealing with late mid-terms, chorus rehearsals, and a newly-enforced hammer in musical rehearsals since opening night is 23 days away (AHHH). Don't worry, once I don't feel like curling up into a ball and dying, I'll post a proper update on that :rainbowlaugh:. Stay healthy kids, it's important!

Well, I know I can't really do anything to help you feel better, but I truly hope you'll feel better soon. Also, good luck win your mid-therms and rehearsals. I'm positive everything will be okay.

*lifts a shaky feathers-up as she vomits into the toilet* "I'm fine."

Uh uh. Yup. Fine. Ashen and Tango believe you.

Hope you get better soon
