Life Update!!!

Hey, guys! Look who's still breathing?

Ya girl's been going through a lot lately, but, like, not in a bad way. The musical in March was a huge success, I got my driver's license in April (lmfao remember when I was having a crisis about that on my birthday last year ), my family and I went to Florida again for vacation in May (Madeira Beach is beautiful but I think I prefer Destin more don't @ me), I came back and finished up my junior year of high school strong, and I've been out of school as of the 14th, I'm living my best life .

It wasn't easy getting through the last two weeks of school, though. I had a really bad health scare that required an ER visit, I was having really bad stomach pains and needed to make sure it wasn't appendicitis or kidney stones. I was stuck in the ER for seven hours and had an IV in my arm for six of them, only for them to tell me that all of my tests came back normal and actually really healthy, so I had a follow-up appointment with my pediatrician to see what was going on and I was told that is was actually a really... really bad virus, so I basically had to suck it up and deal with it, unfortunately, so I was doped up on a bunch of heavy-duty OTC medicine for all of that week. Then I got into a car "accident" the following week (it wasn't really an accident accident, it was literally a scratch on the paint job in the parking lot of a store, but the law is the law), that was a minor issue, and I had to deal with scheduling appointments with my guidance counselor for my classes for senior year, and senior portraits gave me a lot of stress 'cause ya girl is stupidly vain and my mother bought me the premium session so I was at my shoot for two hours, and- *sigh* Yeah, it's been a long past few weeks .

I'm officially a senior year (ack-) so I've been doing a lot of prep school-wise. I'm meeting with the local community college's registration counselor to discuss a possible Dual Enrollment plan for my calculus class and figure out what deal will be with that and College English, I'm doing some research to see when would be a good time for me to retake the SAT, and I'm looking at other colleges to transfer into after I finish my Associates at said community college. I already have my top school, but it never hurts to have options, and you never know if you'll be noticed by other schools. My birthday's also in a little over two weeks, that's crazy, seventeen is such a weird number . I also have a summer internship down at the local naval base for three weeks next month, so I'm gonna be kept kinda busy. But, I do have plans this summer in terms of my content.

I have a deadset goal of continuing "One of the Guys" this summer . I really gotta crank up the heat a little bit on that one. I also have a deadset goal of being more active on DeviantArt. I have always, always, wanted to grow more as an artist and open up commissions one day, but ya girl's gotta get herself out there and build up a little bit of an audience before she can do that and have any kind of success . I'll make a more "self-promo" post about all that jazz later.
