Yo, what is up my people, guess what? I'M NOT DEAD!

Geeez, it's been a hot minute since I've actually said anything, hasn't it? Since my birthday, I think. God, I am so bad at being consistent . But, with the new year comes new goals and new expectations, and one of my many New Year's Resolutions is to actually have somewhat of a consistent upload schedule on my social media platforms, whether if it be a blog or a chapter here or a journal or drawing on DeviantArt or whatever. My word for the year is "Organize", and that's exactly what I plan on doing.

So, a little bit of an update on me - I have been busy . I can't tell you guys how many things I've had on my plate in the last three, almost four months. When school started up again, I actually took a step back from writing if only to accommodate for the priorities I had set for myself. My school work has been something I've been working really hard to balance and prioritize, as well as better my time management, and from what I can tell, I've been doing a really good job at it so far. Since I'm finally in a chorus class in school, I've had an immense amount of performances than what I've been used to in the past few years - there came a point in time where I had five rehearsals and three shows in the span of ten days and had a one week break before my Winter Concert . To say I was dead by the end of that week is an understatement, but I'm surviving, and pretty well at that. While I do have a lot to worry about, I honestly feel lighter than I have in a really long time. I've gotten rid of a lot of toxicity in my life in the past three months, and without the bog to hinder my thoughts, vision, and opinions, I've been able to really step forward in improving myself and my lifestyle, and I'm really proud of that.

When I got comfortable enough towards the end of the year with my new whacky schedule, I went back to my documents and went back to writing again. Slowly, but surely, I found time to get a shit ton of work done, and I even managed to "accidentally" world-build an entire new AU with a good friend and co-author of mine by recycling and rebooting characters I thought I could never use again after walking away from writing for some time, so I'm in a little bit of a dilemma, BUT. It's all good, I'll promote that when I'm able . Low-key sucks that I can't really talk about it yet, there's over 400+ pages worth of content - rough and developing, but still solid content - and I've fallen in love with what we've done with this world and story and what I've done to these characters I thought I'd have to leave for the dust-bunnies, but believe me, it'll be more than worth it when all is said and done. And speaking of writing, this reminds me of something VERY IMPORTANT:

THE REBOOTED CHAPTERS FOR "ONE OF THE GUYS" ARE FINALLY DONE!!!

They've actually been up since... November...? Ish...? Something like that, I remember putting them up around that time before all of my performances came crashing down on me . But yes, the newly edited and rebooted chapters are up now. Granted, I only have the first two (?) chapters fixed and uploaded, BUT. Calm down, I actually do have a good majority of the chapters fixed, plus an outline! The original chapters I took down once I uploaded the new ones, because, things wouldn't make much sense if I kept them, SO! Once I finish the last of the edits to the chapters that were originally up (I think there were about six in total), I'll let you know when those are up and then I'll work on setting a somewhat consistent uploading schedule.

I have so many new things I want to try this year that my Resolutions list seems like a fusion between resolutions and a to-do list . I might make a later blog to talk about it more.
