Red 36 February Update Post Extravaganza! · 9:07am Feb 18th, 2019
First off, I am so genuinely sorry that it took so long to get this chapter out, and I am truly thankful that you've been so patient with me and that Rou's story is something you're interested in. If you've followed my blog at all you'd know that there were a number of things and delays that popped up preventing it from getting done on time. I hope you understand that this is my first time running a month to month project like this, so I'm still trying to get the hang of it even a year into this.
So here's the deal:
I want to get Chapter 7 done by, oh say... late March-ish? I immediately started on it after posting up Chapter 6. So I'm hoping that I'll be able to get some pre-readers on board closer to when the 1st draft of that is done. I'll be putting out a request closer to when the draft is more properly fleshed out, but if that'd be something that interests you, you can shoot me a PM either here or on any other site I frequent and I'll get back to you. Though I understand that life can get hectic, so if you only want to do it for a single chapter, I'd be totally okay with that. In general, I feel that having people to give opinions on the story before release and once I have the first draft done would eliminate a lot of guess work on my part, and hopefully even reduce the time spent between chapter releases!
There were a couple of issues during this release that I probably would've spotted if I had an extra pair of eyes. Nothing big, but just embarrassing stuff that I should've caught and now I'm kicking myself for. That being said I'm so happy with the feedback I've gotten so far from people who've read! This was a genuinely fun chapter to work on, especially towards the end. Things actually happening! Plot! Wow!
So I'll be keeping you updated on the progress as it comes along and let you know relatively soon when I'm searching for folks to help. Or feel free to message me. I'm friendly.

Don't worry about us, what's important is that you can manage to do what's best for you! If that means chapters are delayed or whatever, that's fine! Keep up the amazing work, though, immensely enjoying Red 36! It's such a unique story already, keep the ideas flowing ^-^

Hey thanks for letting me know! I'm really happy to hear you're enjoying it! My main concern is to just keep you all in the loop because I don't want to get into one of those funks where suddenly I haven't updated in several months and you all start to worry if I'm alive or not.
I really want to finish this story and not have this one end up as something that gets thrown on the back-burner after a while (Which happens to way too many fics, sadly).

I know, I've seen so many 'fics grind to a halt and just lay there, it's so sad to see them go. I'm writing my own 'fic at the moment and, admittedly, have fallen prey to the disappearing act despite having a few more chapters to release! >.<
Anyway! I know you'll do a great job with the rest of Red 36, it's one of those stories I read and go "Yes, this is pure 'amazingness'. This is a gem."
