Yeah, was a bit maudlin last night. And I wasn't even drinking, even!
But, perhaps to counteract my general feelings of worthlessness, I went ahead and got to writing on another silly fanfic: Brain Problem Situation. I actually first came up wth the general idea for this one while I was on vacation last year-- and, well, dredging up and finishing something I've already started is easier than a new project, I guess?
But yeah. This one may be going back to my 'roots' a little bit, in that it's gonna be fairly short and very silly. I honestly kind of kicked the idea around as a fic that could, with some minor tweaking, work as an episode of the show (Rarijack subtext and all. Fight me). So we'll see how things go! I imagine I'll have it finished by Thursday, if not earlier-- though now that I've said that I'm afraid disaster (or at least laziness) shall strike, and so you'll never find out how Twilight learns to talk more good again.
Time will tell, I guess.
