    Well, color me impressed.

All 78 episodes on 2 discs, the translation is just as solid as the Hulu version, the subtitles are on by default, and they even translated the mid-episode character cards.

    Hugging Ponies

Well, because there was no TYT this week...

Here's an absolutely adorable tutorial on how to hug your pony from doubleWbrothers.

So I've been busy away from ponies... Again...

With my quest/race to get a Rainbow S on all of Freedom Planet 2's stages, my creativity lit up like a bonfire again, and I started crafting an alternate ending of sorts for the past week.

That story is now complete, and posted in its entirety over on AO3.

Well, it was a good way to kill a week. · 12:54pm Jan 10th, 2019

Well, I was kind of hoping it would last me until RE2, but it's time to call it on Path of Exile.

In the span of about three hours, it went from fun to frustrating for me around the start of Act 4, where after going hours and hours of plowing through hordes of baddies, I started dying more and more, leaving me wondering where my character build had gone wrong. Added to that, I was failing miserably at the first Labyrinth, when I was six levels over.

PoE forums everywhere offer guides and builds, and unfortunately pointed out that new players hitting a difficulty wall mid-game is all too common, making me realize that the in-game New Player Experience is very, very lacking, and with a hard-to-grasp gem system, and a pretty unforgiving respec system, if you're over level 20 or so, the best choice to correct any build mistakes is to sadly "start over".

It was a great way to try my first hack-n-slash isometric RPG, but it got too complicated too fast for me. It was a great way to kill a week's time up to another game's launch, and I didn't spend a dime.

16 days to go.

At least the demo's out tomorrow.

Yeah, which a lot of people are going to spend hours downloading to play for 30 minutes, once, before lockout.

Hope Microsoft and Sony are ready for all the alt accounts of RE fans chomping for 30 more minutes, if that is indeed the way to get around it.

Really, the demo is coming? Ooooh. Unfortunately, I already pre-ordered KH3. I shall buy RE2 Remaster laster on

What build where you using?
My first hit in the wall was way back when the game had only 3 acts and 3 difficulties you did over and over again. If I remember correctly I changed some gems and armour around but it took time since I had to grind mobs for currency.
And this was the act 2 boss.

If you liked Diablo II, play Grim Dawn.

Or Titan Quest. Same game really.:scootangel:

Duelist class. Level 41.

After exploring the skills a bit, I was going for a tank/life leech hybrid. The mine missions at the beginning of Act 4 absolutely slaughtered me, and it took me four lives to beat the Act 3 boss.

This was my first isometric rpg. I never played Diablo 2.

Yeah, I couldn't get on with Path of Exile either. Shame really, as I was looking for a good Diablo alternatove given Blizzard's...new direction, shall we say, with the Diablo franchise. I heard of all the praise it got but couldn't get on with its limited UI and awkard inventory system.

It was very, very fun while it remained challenging but doable.

But when you die and you just stare dumbfounded wondering what you were doing wrong, yeah, that's not good design.

Well you tried your own way, like everyone else in the game at first.
My first one was a sweep templar with a lot of health. But I failed at the resistances, you need to cap them really fast.

4995172
Yeah, capping all resistances doesn't feel like a way to vary character builds.

The first resistance I focused on was fire. But when I was six levels over for the first labyrinth and still wiping against the second boss, I figured it was time to call it quits.

I can imagine, try it next season with a new character and follow a build if you haven't.
Also it could be worst, ever heard of EvE online XD
I play now with a Blade Vortex Scion and I hit my wall on the maps aka end game, sometimes you just find monsters that don't want die.
