    Merry New Years!

2018 has been a rough year for me, as I'm sure it has been for many other people.

I experienced a few hardships that everyone will experience.

But here's to 2019. The year I turn 21... in 11 months. That means I'll be able to begin pursuing the job I actually want, soon.

But that's still 11 months off. So for the time being, happy new years to everyone reading this and good luck!

    So this is it, huh?

This is how it all ends?

The DOJ oversteps the boundaries laid out by the Constitution and declares bump stocks to be machine gun, despite a decade of precedence against them. Despite the last time they tried doing this with a 14 inch shoe string, they were struck down with the might of humiliation.

Trump ruins his chances of taking 2020.

    People are stupid...

Alrighty, time for a history lesson.

Back in the '30s, the US government decided it needed to make one of the most unconstituional bills in the history of the US. The National Firearms Act.

In its initial iteration, it regulated short barreled rifles (rifles with barrels shorter then 16 inches), short barreled shotguns (shotguns with barrels shorter then 18 inches), suppressors, automatic firearms and handguns, as well as a few other classifications of firearms, such as disguised firearms and "any other weapons". Imposing a $200 (in 1934, this was just shy of four thousand dollars in 2018 USD) tax stamp on every single item you wanted to own. It wasn't a one and done thing. Every single NFA item you want to own, you have to pay a tax stamp for every single one. This was a de facto ban for the common man, as $200 was a lot back then. The tyrants in Congress claimed this was to curb mob violence, which was bullshit. Because the mob was already breaking the law. And if they, for some reason, felt the need to comply with this law, they could have easily paid the $200 ($4,000) tax stamp.

However, Congress removed pistols from the bill, which is a damn good thing, they at least didn't fuck that up.

All NFA items have to be registered, including machine guns.

Come around to 1986, a treasonous fuck from New Jersey named William Hughes introduced the Hughes Amendment, which would close the machine gun registry. Essentially meaning that the common man would no longer be able to register new machine guns, meaning the only machines guns that are legal for the common man to own, are the ones made and registered before 1986.

This treasonous fuck conspired with another treasonous fuck named Charles Rangel (From New York, surprise, surprise) to illegally pass this amendment, hiding it in a pro gun bill.

Congress was not retarded, and clearly voted against the amendment in a voice vote. Rangel recorded it as having passed the vote, despite anyone with a pair of fucking ears being able to tell Rangel's a fucking liar up there with the worst of them. Congress protested, demanding a recorded vote.

The tyrant named Rangel refused, and the Hughes amendment was illegally and unconstitutionally passed. Thus making the only machine guns that are legal in the US, the ones registered before the May '86 deadline.

I don't think it needs to be said, but I utterly despise these two fucks and they never deserved to hold office. They both should have been tried for treason. Also, Rangel is facing legal issues for not abiding by tax laws. Again, surprise, surprise. "Laws for thee, not for me! I'm a separate and higher class from you fucking worthless peons!" -Rangel

Regardless, now into modern day!

The definition of a machine gun is any firearm that fires more then one round per trigger pull. Essentially, if you can hold the trigger down and send multiple rounds downrange, it is a machine gun.

Semi automatic firearms are firearms where only one round is sent down ranger per trigger pull. If you hold the trigger down, it will shoot once, and then do nothing.

Bump firing is an exploit of basic physics to imitate automatic fire, while remaining semi-automatic fire under the law. You use the rifle's recoil to press the trigger at high speed.

To make this easier (and cooler), people created stocks specifically designed to assist in this.

upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3b/Slide_Fire_Solutions_Slidefire_Stock_on_a_GP_WASR-10_AK-47_%28no_watermark%29.JPG

Unfortunately, some asshole decided to use these in a mass murder (the only time bump stocks have ever been used in a crime, by the way).

Every anti-gunner freaked out and claimed bullshit lies about how bump stocks turn rifles into machine guns.

Now, let's go back into the past just a tad bit.

The ATF, despite being one of the most unconstitutional and corrupt law enforcement agencies in the country, is allowed to essentially create legislation via "opinion letters". Which is essentially just the ATF interpreting the laws (which they're not actually allowed to do, that's the judicial branch's job). And they have been wishy-washy on their "opinion letters".

One way to bypass the SBR legislation was to take a receiver that had never been sold as a rifle and just not stick a stock on it. In such a way, you now had a pistol. Yes, it looks like an AR-15, but according to the law and to the ATF, it is a pistol.

Now the thing about not having a stock on what is essentially a rifle is that it doesn't look cool and it's not comfortable or easy to shoot. You're shooting a rifle round with only two points of contact, with no shoulder to stabilize it.

Then enter... pistol braces.

Now! I know what you're thinking: "Geez, KaBar, this is sounding awfully retarded and unnecessarily. That's obviously a stock!" I know, I know. Our government is full of retards. Just... stay with me. I'll explain in a second.

That is not a stock. It is not designed to be shouldered. This is a very important distinction. Since it was only designed to brace the pistol against the arm, the ATF does not consider it a stock.

It becomes a bit more obvious with this pistol brace.

pewpewtactical.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/Maxim-CQB-e1536217979165.jpg

Now, I realize it still looks a lot like a stock. But you see that cloth strap? That's velcro. You're supposed to slip your hand in that loop and use it to stabilize the "pistol".

The ATF recently changed its opinion, saying you could now shoulder the pistol braces, despite never giving us a hard definition of what shouldering was. If you shoved a traditional handgun into your shoulder grip first, did that turn it into an illegal SBR?

Okay, you still with me? Good.

Now, as you can see, terminology and definition is extraordinarily important in the world of firearms regulation and legislation.

The ATF has released multiple opinion letters stating the bump stock is not a machine gun, as the trigger is activated for every single round. It can not be a machine gun, because it does not fit the current legal definition of a machine gun.

So what does the retard known as Presindent Trump and his equally retarded DOJ do, despite a decade of precedence working against them?

They turn bump stocks into machine guns.

So what does this mean?

Well, let's look at an old case similar to this one.

The Cobray StreetSweeper (Armsel Striker, a very shitty gun by all accounts). Introduced to the US in 1989, it was originally sold as just another shotgun, subject to no additional restrictions.

upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/8b/Protecta-shotgun-p1030163.jpg/1280px-Protecta-shotgun-p1030163.jpg

Then in 1994, the ATF got their bloody panties in a twist and declared it a "destructive device" (turning it into an NFA item) with no "sporting purpose" (an excused used by tyrants so they don't have to admit that they hate guns in the hands of anyone but themselves). what this means now was that possessing one that wasn't registered and tax stamped was a federal crime. However, the ATF offered an amnesty period, where you could register and pay for the tax stamp and not be a criminal.

So... what does this mean for the current day?

Well... it means Jack-Fucking-Shit.

As the machine gun registry is closed, permanently (at least for the time being), no new machine guns can be added to the registry and tax stamped. (Mind you, the president can open it for 90 days without needing Congress' approval, so Trump could have easily offered an amnesty period.)

So this means if you own a bump stock, you have three options.

1.) Destroy it or turn it in with no compensation.

2.) Hide it and never say a single thing to anyone about it. If the police come, your answer is "I melted it into a heap of plastic and tossed it in the trash."

3.) 1776 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo. Washington wants his name back.

Here's the other thing. The government can not confiscate your once legal property from you without compensating you for it.

Trump and his retarded DOJ are trying to skirt this by saying it doesn't have to be turned in... you just have to destroy it.

And now people are pissed. They're pissed at the NRA for sucking Trump's cock. They're pissed at Trump for sucking the anti-gunner's cocks. They're pissed at the DOJ for overstepping their boundaries.

For once we're not pissed at the ATF, as they continued to say until the end they still considered bump stocks not to be MGs. They refused to rule otherwise, forcing Trump to personally act.

And now the Gun Owners of America are gearing up a lawsuit to combat this bullshit.

Did that explain it? If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

Still have mine and if they try to take then, well il let your imagination decide

I can say that the American Legal system seems pants on head retarded

I did know about the adding stuff to other bills without the ability for people to say no fuck off without throwing the whole bill out. But just ignoring the entire debate and doing the shit anyway after being caught doing just that.

Dear god what the fuck, why even have the debates if they are completely ignored?

I am glad I only have Idiots in power where I live in Australia rather then Fuckwits with a long history of being massive fuckwits.

4982939

Well, see, that's the thing. Congress voted to pass FOPA (Firearms Owner Protection Act, the bill Rangel and Hughes hid their shit in), but they also voted to not include the Hughes Amendment in it. Had Rangel done his fucking job, the Hughes amendment would be nothing more then a failed amendment.

The worst part is, we have video evidence of Rangel's incompetence and his maliciousness.

https://youtu.be/a6Mx2UcSEvQ?t=494

The day two treasonous bastards stabbed America in the back... recorded on video.

I mean, what did you expect? The mental gymnastics required for them to even give a REASON for them ignoring the "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" part of 2A stuff uses up all their fucking brain power.
