Pre-emptive strike! · 12:09am Nov 28th, 2018
I feel like I'm about to owe everyone an apology. So I'm gonna warn you all now.
My so-called "internet connection" is so bad, it almost doesn't exist. If it weren't for there being a little bit of 4G for my phone, I wouldn't get any writing done at all, let alone be able to submit anything. And it's not anyone's fault. I don't have faulty equipment (save for my computer randomly freezing solid), and no one is sabotaging anything... Except my internet provider.
For those of you that live in Washington state, you may be familiar with the internet provider known as CenturyLink. I've heard they do pretty well in other towns and large cities, but here, they have a fascination with choking the internet for all it's worth. My already bad wifi has trouble recognizing it, so things are spotty at the best of times. It this causes my releases to slow down, I apologize. Hard to submit when you can't connect.
i switched from centurylink and got xfinity again cause i was having the same problems
So far it doesn't seem like Xfinity reaches the dinky little valley I live in.
Ever hear of a tiny town called Packwood? The entire town is in the same internet stranglehold I'm stuck in.
