My new editor for the Little Flashes series, Chromio, is working on a little side project while we wait for the Little Memories cover art. This project is essentially a visualized timeline of each story in the Little Flashes series, and for the sake of drawing practice, I am providing the drawings. This is the second one of them, which I feel is good enough to show.

3 stories in and she's not even halfway done. How much do you have planned? I went into "Consequences" thinking it to be the finale of a trilogy, but clearly I was way off.

9 stories? Considering "Memories" isn't out yet? Hell of a journey. How'd you come up with the concept for this series anyway?

Would you believe me if I said: "I asked myself a weird question in the shower one day?"
It began with the following question: "What if Rainbow Dash was adopted by Celestia?"
From there, I had to nail down a few things in my head: Why did Rainbow need adopting? Why did Celestia adopt her and not somepony else? What caused Rainbow's parents to die to lead to that event? What was different here as compared to canon?
I answered those questions mentally and then launched into it. I didn't have any plans for anything past Glimpses at first, but as the story spiked in popularity and as I grew more and more attached to what I was writing, the concept grew and expanded as well.
So now we have a planned nine-story epic with two possible side-stories.
Granted, that is subject to change, so we'll see how things go, but there ya go.

The series's popularity is well-deserved. The idea of "Glimpses" and the description grabbed my attention when I noticed it (I think I was just browsing your stories after reading an Idiocyverse story?), and it just went from there. But what really got me invested into this series was "Choices" and Rainbow's insecurities about Starlight. I think you just nailed it with the latter half of that story.
