That doesn't prove anything. She could have been Cozy Glow and running that scheme at the same time. It's not like she's dumb, despite what other fans will say. I mean, she managed to stealthily disrupt Equestrian rule twice. And if she was Cozy, that would mean that she is now unguarded in a cell made to hold a pegasus not a changeling, and she has everything she would need to free her new ally.
Of course none of that explains why they locked up what they thought was a child in literally Hell.
