I was going to talk a bit about the story this week, specifically on its setting, but I'll be honest: I've been sick as a dog all week, and I'm just not feelin' it.
I spent all of last weekend either in the recliner or in bed, and the weeknights (yes, I've still been dragging my ass to work) have pretty much been the same. I haven't even worked on the story since sometime last week; I just can't bring myself to stare at a computer screen any longer than I need to, what with being distracted by the non-stop coughing, the throat that feels like I swallowed a chainsaw running at full throttle, and the on-and-off headaches that have been happening since Saturday(ish).
So, I'll have to get back to it next week, if/when I feel up to it. I can't think when I feel like this. I'm not a machine, OK!? I'm not part bionic, and organic; not a cyborg...

This one's pretty neat. The main riff portrays the theme of the song well, and... it has a good, uh... groove. I think.
