One word: college.
It is amazing how within two months you become both incredibly busy and yet also sometimes incredibly not. It is amazing to think that two months ago I was online most every day, writing something. It is saddening to see and to recognize that I have not been able to match that same amount of work as time has gone on, and it is also saddening to reflect on what was done and is now done for good.
I do not think I shall write another story here. I have yet to even catch up on the show or the spin-offs. Nor have I been consistent in my readings of fanfictions, or otherwise exploring what FIMFiction has to offer. I cannot say if I shall ever regain such commitment as I once had.
I have a new friend group. They are good and fun. They have taught me so much in such a short span of time. I am, to say the least, comfortable here in college. I am growing. I am stronger now. It is good and it is true. I think that is all we need in life: something good and true.
Perhaps that's the same with writing.
But I digress.
I have been away and most likely will continue to be away. I am sorry that my time here has been cut abruptly short. But the one consistent thing about life is this: it goes on. So must we.
Welcome to the club, pal. Take it easy, and be patient. I will pay off.
