Uncertain about future direction: Feedback appreciated · 6:59pm Oct 12th, 2018
So I do still have 2 story ideas lined up, but I think neither are what I truly want to write. Additionally, Slice of Cake is still on hiatus and the Moondancer fic will finish soon (well, at this rate that could mean 3 months, but it's definitely within 6k words of done so won't occupy much of my writing time).
I'm curious what direction people think I should take with my stories. I definitely want to do more short fics like the (very popular) Autumn Blaze fic and the Starlight/Trixie fix-fic, but I don't want to mainly make them. One idea I've considered is a sequel to the Apples and Oranges fic, but I think it might get bogged down as I've thought about it and there isn't much to explore with that situation.
So, I'm quite open to ideas on what to do next after most of the stuff currently on my plate is done. Is there anything I should avoid that I've done in my stories? Anything I should expand upon? Any sequels I should write?
To clarify on the story ideas lined up, one is a Caramel/Apple Bloom shipping fic, everyone-rated, that was the first thing I began writing. It would be a medium-sized fic that's mostly just slice of life with a little comedy in a more dilute version of my unique style; the other is a heavy clopfic with themes of mostly vore and snuff, but without the insanely silly elements of Slice of Cake, centered on the idea of a sociopathic emo/punk pony wreaking havoc and going on a quest to force a dragon to rut her. The currently aptly-titled "I Want to Fuck a Dragon" fic would be as well on the short side of medium.
As a minor update, I finished the Moondancer fic and it took a little more than 3 months. Nothing else has changed since, though I intend to get the snuff fic at least properly outlined soon.
