Update 10/7/18 · 3:41am Oct 8th, 2018
Damn, it's hard to believe we are already in October.
Anyways, I'm here to get you all up to speed on what's going on.
These next couple of weeks will be rather busy for me. Tomorrow is my final session with an instructor behind the wheel and, while I still have to complete my online driver's ed lessons (which I am relieved to know I can complete at my own pace now), I am almost to the point necessary to become a licensed driver. I also have a second job interview for a store I applied at that is closer to home.
This Wednesday I fly out to Minnesota for almost a week, so I will not be writing then. I will have my computer with me, but it will pretty much be to offload pictures and videos from my phone taken throughout the trip, and is highly unlikely I will have much time to do anything else except for maybe at night, and by that point I'll likely be too tired to do a whole lot if anything.
By the time I come home, I hope to have my foot in the door at this new job so I can work better hours than what I currently get at the Columbus Zoo in order to save for a car and possibly another trip in January or February.
All in all, I'm satisfied with the progress I've made on my current projects that I've been catching up on. My goal is to potentially have A Sailor's Notes completed by the end of 2018 now that I have pulled myself out of the massive ditch of writer's block that I dug myself into over a year ago. Deceitful Royalty will follow, albeit likely at a somewhat slower pace as I have not completely shaken the block on that story.
Because I am putting focus into these two stories, I am indefinitely pushing back production of Millennia: Starfall and The Guard of the Sun to the early months of next year. There is a chance I may pull through with getting a published start with one of them beforehand, but for the sake of keeping focused on my current tasks I will more than likely hold back until something else is done.
Best of luck to you in Minnesota!
