The new Mario game has a power up, a super crown, that turns a Toadette into a Peach like figure. Put it on Bowser and you have a badass version of Peach. The design sells it since it makes her kind of a goth villainess.

While I like the redhead version, I much more prefer the blonde one. Mostly because the Super Crown turns you to looking like Peach, so it makes more sense. Also, I love blondes so there is that.
