My dad always say, "time moves faster the older you get." It's already my third anniversary. Though I might not have any plans for a fourth one, guess this would bet the perfect opportunity for that minor reboot I mentioned.
Overall, the story is more or less the same, but there are some key differences.
1) There is still only one Sunset Shimmer. However, she enters the portal by accident as a baby and so has virtually no recollection of her time in Equestria.
2) More elaborate detail of some character backstories. Some ideas include Night Dancer having some involvement regarding Bright Mac and Pear Butter, having a friendship with the former, having official use of Zecora (how and why does Diver associate water for meditation), and how characters such as Snips and Snails are enrolled with the Maximals and Crusaders.
3) Likewise, there is added detail to scenes that do exist. For instance, imagine if some of our heroes have to fight a Pharynx Class Drone?
Truly a toughie to outside the Predacons.
4) Stories that are not part of the main Jongojiverse are incorporated in some way.
5) Characters that I haven't used will be; In "Vacant Niches," Anon is replaced with Gabby Griffon for instance.
6) Outside of physical pop-culture instances (The Land Before Time and the characters in the Other Visits arc), on occassion there is "a show within a show."
