An Eternal Evening is Officially Completed! · 11:16pm Sep 16th, 2018

It's done, go check it out. I'm going to quickly talk about what I thought about it, and what I'm doing next.

I started An Eternal Evening on a complete whim, and didn't take enough time in the beginning. I realized this, and tried to make it into a story that I would enjoy once again. I'm satisfied with the results. There's a lot of work to be done, but for a first story that 28000 words long or so? I think I did okay.

Glowing Sera was a creation of my own thoughts about how the events could have gone down. What if somepony caused it all to change? I was never satisfied with just "Luna was evil one day" and I wanted to create it differently. Glowing influenced the events immensely in small ways, and I was satisfied with how she turned out. Also, Sera translates to evening in Italian. Glowing Evening, Sparkling Twilight, Shimmering Sunset, eh?

One big inspiration was On An Evening In Roma by Dean Martin, and many of the song's lyrics are in the chapter titles.

If there is anything else you want to know, ask here or in the story's comments.

As for what's next? I've got at least one short one-shot planned, titled Time and the River. However, my next big untitled story will be later down the line. I don't know if I'll make a sequel to An Eternal Evening, but if I do, expect it in a long while.

A humongous thanks to anyone who read the story and enjoyed it!
