Recovering from a Heart Attack and Dehydration

So, yesterday, I spent half the day in the emergency room for a mild heart attack. Don't worry, I'm doing fine, and if anything happens, they told me to come back. I did have to call an Uber to get home because my mom hates driving at night. But all in all, I just wanted to let you guys know I'm alright. Doctor said to get plenty of rest, and drink more water, since dehydration is what caused the

    My First Joint

So, a few weeks ago I mentioned that I was going to try to use delta-9 hemp products to try to work with my writer's block. It didn't help with my writer's block per-say, but it gave me a very creative high. You know those little grey things you see when you close your eyes, and they move around as you move your eyes? It was kind of like that on steroids, and as I closed my eyes, I saw all sorts

My New Greek OC: Amara Daughter of Zeus and Aphrodite

So, I had an idea for a Greek Goddess who is the daughter of Zeus and Aphrodite, and he's some of what I've been able to come up with as far as information for her goes. I haven't thought of a personality yet, but it would spawn from more than just her familial ties, and more from her upbringing on Mount Olympus being raised by some of the other Olympians, even Hades on occasion

Next Installation of Detective Twilight, Which Do You Like Best?

So, if you haven't noticed, the tagged story is an adaptation of the first Detective Peach play in the new Mario game Princess Peach Showtime. It was a one-shot, but it is going to have sequels as more ideas come to me. Right now, here are three ideas I have for the first sequel. Let me know what you think, and if you have suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them.

Emerald Dragon Knight · 3:12pm Aug 31st, 2018

Ok, so if you saw my Blog Entry where I made you aware that I was going to do a Yu-Gi-Oh FF, you would have seen that in the idea I'm currently doing, Spike will eventually realize he's a Duel Spirit, a duel monster come to life. The card I decided to use for Spike's Duel Spirit is a card I made up, Emerald Dragon Knight. I have part of the card figured out, and that's its special ability. For every Dragon-type monster in the graveyard, Emerald Dragon Knight gains 500 Attack and Defense points. Now, the other two things I need opinions on is the base Attack and Defense points, and what the monster should look like. If you have any ideas for either, let me know. And if you decide to draw a picture for the Emerald Dragon Knight, I may use it as the cover, as long as you're alright with that.

I wouldn't mind doing a doodle. As for stats, I'd say a base 2500 Atk and 2000 defence (as is the standard for most protagonists.) Maybe even a hard once per turn effect that sends a dragon to the graveyard.

Do you mean the once per turn effect being in union with the +500 Attack and Defense point boost for every Dragon in the Graveyard? As for the base, I suppose that most of the protagonists do have their main card around that area

4929051
The once per turn effect would be it sending a dragon to the graveyard (from either the hand or deck.) The attack gain is continuous, similar to Red Eyes Darkness Dragon

4929054
Ok, but another friend just made me realize something. If it has the 500+ Attack and Defense gain, as well as 2500 Attack points and 2000 Defense points, it sounds a bit OP

4929089
Not necessarily. You can circumvent this issue by making it have a large summoning requirement. If it's a Synchro, XYZ, or Fusion, then it's fair enough. Plus, a monster with big numbers and no protection whatsoever is actually not as broken as you think

4929091
What about a ritual summon? I was thinking of a ritual between Dark Magician Knight and a Dragon-type monster, but I'm not sure what Dragon yet

4929094
I can think of two off the top of my head. Ancient Dragon (due to having a similar attack gaining effect,) and Draconic Knight (for obvious reasons)

4929096
Those sound like a good idea, but what I'm wondering is, if Emerald Dragon Knight is a ritual, and it's also the Duel Spirit Spike really is, is that a thing? Normally when I think of Duel Spirits, I don't think of monsters with special summoning conditions, but then again, things don't have to be completely like the original in a fan fiction

4929099
I'd say it's more along the line of a Fusion monster, though ritual is unique. As for duel spirits, that's not always the case. Any monster can be a duel spirit, so long as the duelist has a strong connection to that monster.

4929101
Ok, I haven't played Yu-Gi-Oh in years, and I only have a small amount of cards. But ok, I guess that makes sense that it's the connection between the duelist and the monster. I know ritual monsters can be super complicated to summon at times, but the only ritual monster I've ever used was Dark Magician Knight. For Emerald Dragon Knight, I think I'll use a ritual summon with Dragonic Knight and either Ancient Dragon or Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon

4929116
Sounds good to me! I can work on the doodle if you like

4929117
Sure, thanks for that. I don't really know what I want it to look like, but I think that considering it's what Spike really is, it shouldn't be too hard to make a duel monster based on Spike while still making it look like an actual duel monster

I hope you don't get upset, but I found a nice image I used for the card making app
