So what happened?

Short answer: I got burnt out.

Long answer: "I got burnt out" is an oversimplification. The fact of the matter was I got stuck on the first and final question for Week 5, and instead of rearranging things so I could work on an easier question, I just abandoned it. And soon after, I had to go into a hiatus so I could focus on my last two years of high school, so it was on the back burner for a while. Couple that with my lack of ideas for pony stories, and you have me leaving the site and only popping on occasionally to check on my notifications (minus my feed; the thing is terribly backed up). I technically finished the chapter a year ago, but it's only been the past week that I've finally put my nose to the stone and finished it and made sure it was any good.

I do apologize for making everyone wait so long. Some of the people who asked questions have long since left the site, in which case they probably won't see this or my responses, but I want to apologize to them, anyway. As I said in the author's note, I'm hoping for weekly or bi-weekly updates until I run out of questions. The new semester is starting tomorrow, so I don't know how that will affect my writing.
