Crap I never wrote a BronyCon blog! · 3:27am Aug 19th, 2018
I was there! Drinks were consumed, mistakes were made, and at least three friendships were strengthened as I was left to contemplate the continuation of three other relationships.
In short, this Bronycon was too personal. And even more personal because it is the bittersweet penultimate chapter in the Bronycon saga.
For the last two years, there’s been a crazy TAM story. This is the first year I don’t have one, unless you include blacking out in Shalrath’s company and waking up to an empty hotel room at ten in the morning. Yeah, my roommates were professional drinkers and I was such a noob I had a hangover for the first time in my life.
I think I probably over-corrected after that and was much more subdued. Not to mention my ears were bothering me. Kinda hard to enjoy large crowds and sudden volume changes when your ears are telling you that the ambient noise is too loud, the crowd is too close.
I probably leaned on one friend too much. Or at the very least, we leaned on each other.
So, here’s the shout-outs,
Alphabetically
Anzel- There are few people in this world who both make me want to be better and also make me feel good enough as I am. You’re amazing.
Crystal- I could gal talk with you at the drop of a hat. You really blossomed into the prettiest flower in the garden, m’lady (said in Chat Noir voice, not fedora-guy).
Eagle- You’re always easy to talk to. You might not always say or do the right things at the right time, but I know you mean well and are the kind of person who owns their mistakes. In short, they must really make real men in Texas.
Iry- I did not take pictures of your butt. Even in the cat-suit. Hearing the excitement in that little girl’s voice when she saw you as Chat will always be one of the best things I’ve ever been witness to.
Larscis- You’re a freaking legend and always will be. Also, you’re a great guy. Whatever your goldfish is paying you, it’s not enough.
PJ- I think you’re amazing. This trip confirmed it. Never stop living your best, the people who matter will always know when you’re doing the best that you can.
Quiggles/Quiet- You’re a genuinely good person. They don’t make them like you every day.
My roomies, you all were amazing! I know I say that a lot in this blog, but I mean it. I always fet comfortable around you weirdos. Probably because I’m also weird.

Umm... wow. Thanks, TAM. I really, really don't know what else to say, other than that you're awesome and I loved getting to spend what little time I did with you and everyone else.
