Overdue post about Chimesy

... and an overdue thanks to him for the kind and also constructive words.

For those not in the know, Midnight Chimes was nice enough to make a whole review video about aPS wherin he brought up some very good points about my series and my writing as a whole (or at least what he's read of it. Kinda worried about if/when he gets to DiH).

I'm only sorry I haven't been able to make a post about these vids until now.

Because not only does he use my story to discuss criticism and how to accept it, but he made another video mentioning my work talking about plot devices and characters and the proper ways to set them up in a story. Both videos are extremely helpful not just if you're writing pony fic but any fiction.

I wasn't expecting empty praise from him, and I wasn't expecting a mean tirade on my stuff, and I'm grateful to Chimesy that what he gave me was a fair and balanced critique with some helpful advice thrown in for good measure.

Definitely check out his videos when you have the chance. He still does do fan work reviews if you want to submit anything to him. But he will be honest, jsyk.

Hope everyone is having a great summer. I'm working on some original writing projects now I'm finished with the Sympathy Series. So don't expect any pony from me for a while. But never say never ;P
