So, here we go. I alluded in the latest chapter that I was going to do some commissions, and I'm now open, if anyone is interested. Just to make sure I don't accidentally get overwhelmed, I'll have 3 open slots for starters. I'm gonna put all the needed information in this blog post.

tldr
7.5 euros per 1k words, max 5k. Paypal, up front. SFW and NSFW ok, but not absolutely everything. Can request small changes, but not ad infinitum.
Stranger in the Forest hiatus
First of all, Stranger in the Forest is going to kinda sorta be on hiatus while I'm doing commissions. If I get an unexpected amount of these then I might do a chapter for it in between the commissions, and I'll try not to go for too long without updates regardless. Even if I get no commissions, I won't be writing as much for it, and that will be explained in the next part.
Why
So the reason why I'm doing this whole thing is because I need to pay my bills, and I also need to pay for some online university courses I'm going to do. It would be nice to be able to pay all of those and eat something else than bland porridge every day. 
And don't forget about the tea, that's the secret to all my writings! 
If I don't get any commissions, I'll have to find some other way of making money, which means it's going to be eating at my time, and that means less writing regardless if I don't get any commissions. 
It's unfortunate, but sometimes one needs to be a responsible adult.
Price
The price is going to be 7.5 euros per 1000 words (that's about 8.8 dollars), and at max I'm gonna write 5000 words per commission. Naturally, I might write a bit more than what you paid for to make a good story, so if you paid for 1k words and got 1,25k, you don't need to pay extra. Depending on the length and the idea, it could take anything from a day to a week or so to write one.
For the payments I'm using paypal, so I'll send a bill through that. It should be able to convert dollars in to euros automatically, so you don't have to fiddle with anything regarding that.
How
If you want to commission me, send me a message with your idea, and how long you want it to be. If I take the commission, and once I have been paid, I'll start writing. You'll get to see the progress and request small changes, if there's something you don't want. Note, I will only do a certain number of changes before I move on, to avoid the commission from going in to a limbo state because we are constantly making tiny changes to it, and it's never technically finished. 
Once it's complete, you can either have it just for yourself, or I can publish it here. 
What
You can commission me to write both SFW and NSFW short stories. From NSFW side, I'm willing to write about a lot of things, but I won't write anything too extreme. You can always ask me if I'll write something, and I'll let you know. 
If you for some reason want to, you can also commission me to write stuff for the Stranger in the forest side stories. Silly stuff, non-canon chapters, what ifs, different spins to previous chapters, put your OC in the mix, whatever. That's what it's there for. 
So if you ever wanted a detailed explanation as to what Pinkie did after Trixie's, hmm, 'unfortunate mishap' with Scruffy's hand, then that might just be possible... Or whatever else your minds can think of.

Huh. It's probably because I've never done research into commissions or the like, but 10 euros for 1k words seems like a pretty bad deal. I live in Norway, and things are generally pretty expensive here, and that kinda money is just under what I'd expect to pay to get a full novel from a store. I realise there's quite a bit of difference, (and I probably wouldn't avail myself to the offer in any case, because if I thought I had a good idea I'd prefer to play with it myself,) but now I'm curious if that price is normal?

What I tried to look in to it, I saw several people go with that rate. There was also few who went with 5 dollars per 1k word, and one who went with 20 dollars per 1k word. I thought 10 euros seemed to be the average or near it anyways, so I decided to go with it. We'll see how that pans out I guess, this is my first time doing this as well.
About the novel prize. With story commissions the big idea is that what you get out of it is your idea, your story. You are paying the write for them to take time and write out your ideas. Maybe it's because you don't have the time to write, or maybe you aren't sure how well you would do etc. If you buy a novel, you'll get more words for sure, but they are somebody else's.

There's also the fact that a published novel will have many people paying for it. Commissions are a single source.
Trixter, you might try something like "I'll write 1k woes for every 10 euros pledged". Not sure how you'd choose what gets written, though. Just my two bits.

I don't know about comm rates in euros, but in Freedom Dollars, ten per grand would be pushing it last I saw. You could try doing what companies do and drop it to NEIN instead. The illusion of a Lowe price, ya know?

Say 1 person pledged 3 euros, another pledged five, and two pledge 1 each. That makes 10 euros for a 1k story but no one person payed for the whole thing.
