Hey all.
As most of you have most likely surmised, I haven't been writing much. I just haven't felt like it, which probably means that I have a writers block or whatever you want to call it. I've been trying to get myself back into writing, since I have so many ideas bouncing inside my head, but to not much success unfortunately. 
(And not to harp on it too much, but the stuff going on in fimfic hasn't exactly helped give me more motivation to write here.)
As such, I think it's high time I just admit that stranger in the forest is on a hiatus with no idea when or if I get it finished. 
I'm really sorry about that. But, to not completely leave you out in the cold, anyone who wants to can PM and I will tell you the rest of the plot of the story. The story is quite close to the end as is, so its mostly just the epic climax of the story and some side bits.
And I'm not leaving fimfic, btw, I just have no idea when I'll get back to writing. So yeah, sorry about all of this, and thank you all for reading my stories. 
Writing a story is hard, but with enough faith, you can do it! Good luck!

Hey homie, don’t feel too bad about writers block. Even the best writers get stumped! Personally, I find that immersing myself in the things that inspire me helps me get through my writers block at times. I read the books/watch the movies/play the games (etc.) that helped shape my style of writing. Maybe that might help you too!
Obviously I'm not happy about a hiatus (I never am when it's a story I like). But it happens for all sorts of reasons, and at least you're telling us about it. That's always better than an author just disappearing one day.
Seriously, considering the number of authors on both this site and FF.net that I follow who I know for a fact are dead, or reported themselves to be in poor health some years back and haven't been heard from since, I've picked up a slight tendency to think the worst when an author just stops, and the weeks go to months and then years.

I can assure you that I'm fine. :) I just...find it hard to sit down and just write. My apologies.
I've been in something of the same boat since I finished writing my current fic. The daft thing is, I have ideas, even detailed plans for stories. But somehow, it just seems like such a massive chore to write them down when the idea has already played out in my head. In any case, best thing is not to try and force it; just wait for inspiration to strike again.

It happens. Thanks for the story. Whether or not you continue it, it is a good story!
Just want to say that I'm glad that you're back and have not disappeared completely. While it is a bummer that Stranger in the Forest is put on hiatus (have been quite invested in the story myself), I completely understand that feeling on being stuck. It is best if you take your time with this, for a story is best done out of passion rather than necessity. After all, patience is a key to enjoyment.
I hope you one day find the drive to write again, if not on this story than on the other ideas you have in mind, I would love to read them. Wish you the best and hope you're safe and healthy.
