Crazy, huh? It's been a while.
So... uh.. beyond being the biggest hypocrite in the world right now, and failing to finish even the 1st arc of the original story like I said I would.
I'm here. Still rather upset that I lost touch with this story and my writing in general. The Fallen Soldier is was and still is my biggest story ever. It means the world to me, and i hate that i erased most of the original chapters without preserving them in some way. I'd love to create a separate story that involves the original, while giving the rewrite its own space to grow. Rather than letting it piggy off the original.
Where am i going with this?
Uh, the rewrite on Fantiction is doing fantastic. We have over 5,500k views. And only 30k words. Compared to the version on here, it outdoes the veiws by a lot. Exepct for one thing. It doesnt have the same community.
This version has over 300 comments (some mine) and over a 100 like. The fanfiction version only has 15 comments (reviews). Its heartbreaking, not having that same support i had here.
But ill make do. Especially since my life is greatly calming down, AND I HAVE THAT SPARK TO WRITE AGAIN!!!
I think i overdid myself with the original, poor pacing, never thought anything out, not flexing my writing enough. I wanna make a comeback, i wanna start writing other short stories, or oneshots as they're called.
I'm not done, not yet. I've just been resting my mind.
Edit- Fanfiction version was recently updated, next chapter is in the works. Im taking my time, making sure I'm not rushing anything.
Also i changed my name to match my Fanfictiom account. AMAHS is no more, it's GoldenBoomer now.
Edit edit - ALL FUTURE CHAPTERS ARE TO BE POSTED ONLY ON FANFICTION. I DONT WANNA DESTROY THE ORIGINAL ANYMORE. IM ALSO PRETTY SURE I CANT SUBMIT ANOTHER STORY IF THEYRE THE SAME THING. All future oneshots will be submitted on here and fanfiction. Though i have a bad history of always getting rejected via moderation. So we'll see how that goes.

I've been reading fanfics and rereading some of my favorite fanfics, as well as actual novels. Never was much of a reader, and I was never readily able to admit I was a sucker for romance novels. Been coming to terms with some things recently, and in that process, realized I still got more I wanna write.

Well your welcome being the only one to give a damn read then! I feel ya with life's constantly changing flow and how it can mold your life. Just glad to hear someone got their writing sprite back. Many authors are in great need of that lately, including me.
