Look, let's be honest. It's taking me forever to update these days and I can't comprehend why. I finish one chapter, tell myself I'll start the next one in a day or two. And suddenly it's been three weeks and I'm hitting myself over the head.
I don't think you guys understand how much it pisses me off. You see, when I spent my time reading rather than writing, I'd sometimes come across good stories that got updates every couple months before stopping completely. Here are two good stories that did this.
Lost and Fallen.
Destiny's Call: The tales of a foreigner in a familiar land
These two stories were great reads and I eagerly awaited updates for them. Then the updates stopped, and months passed by. Eventually, I realized they were dead and had a unlikely chance of ever being updated. It pissed me off to see that, those two stories were pretty much all I read at the time.
You see, while I am a brony. I'm pretty fucking quiet about it, I stopped watching the show at season 3 and haven't picked it up since. I lost interest in it, you see though, I've still got love for the fanfic community of MLP:FIM. It's pretty much the only MLP thing I involve myself in.
Back to the point, I was pissed that the only two things I read stopped getting updated. So I thought I'd try my hand again at writing a fanfiction, thus you got my most prominent story. The one you clicked this blog for, because you the reader have an interest in it.
Thank you for that.
Anyway, I told myself I'd write a better story and never do the things I hate seeing in other fanfics. I'd write a story my way . I've learned that it's a different process however, I've learned many things from writing this story for the past year and so.
Point is, I'm doing exactly what I hated to see and it's pissing me off more than you think. So, for that reason, I've decided that I'm not going to COMPLETLY finish all the arcs in the story. I WILL FINISH THE 1st ARC, WHICH IS THE ONE YOU ARE ALL READING (or trying to read) AS OF NOW.
At the rate that I write now, it'll take me years to finish this story. So I'm just going to end it with a happy ending. But I'm still going to rewrite it all, so look forward to that.
