Hey there everyone!
No, I'm not dead. I've been focusing a lot of my time rewriting the story. Currently I've been posting a significant portion of the chapters on Fanfiction. Maybe some of you guys have found it again and are reading it as we speak.
Frankly, I owe you guys a apology. You've been with me through all this for so long and this is how I repay you. So I've decided to refocus on this story right now. Since I've already posted a new chapter for the rewritten version.
Hopfully I can get a new chapter out for you guys rather soon. But hey, it's a growing story on a Fanfiction. With roughly 14 thousand words, we've already racked up 1,674 views. And each chapter has a steady reader return rate. (More readers read the next chapter rather than just leaving.)
I'd like to think that some of you guys found it again. Maybe you're part of those 1,600+ readers. And I mean honestly, the rewritten version hasn't been up as long as this one, AND it isn't even as lengthy as this one. Yet we've already gotten more than half of the views on this version of The Fallen Soldier.
This means more to me than you think. It tells me that people still have an interest in my shotty story of a Hispanic man stuck on Equestria! Maybe it's the diversity? Most popular stories either have a white man as the protagonist, or a white-male-turned-pony as the protagonist. Sometime they're African-American. But mine stars a Hispanic SUPERSOLDIER 400 years from the future!
Point is, I'm not dead, I'm still here, and you'll see a update soon.

Yess! Where is rewritten version? Gimme that! I found some time ago original one and I thought: it's good, have interesting story, and Human with, at least, few hundred years of technological advancement. It's enough to buy me. So, if you post it on fanfiction, will it be placed here?

And I'm glad you like the premise of the story! Also a couple of the rewritten chapters have been posted on here, replacing the first few original chapters. The chapters with REWRITTEN next to it are the newer ones.
