Let me start this off by saying that I don't hate Babs in the slightest. Her appearances post-One Bad Apple in both the show and the comics have tended to be pretty good when they aren't just silent cameos, and I honestly wish that we'd see more of her. Alas, I get the feeling that the response to her first appearance being what it was kinda screwed her over.
And that is in no way a shocker.
One Bad Apple was an episode with a lot of problems in how it handled the issue of bullying and how it presented its moral. Others have said, and I'm going to repeat, that simply going to an adult isn't going to solve the problem of being bullied. You should do it, but it isn't the be-all and end-all solution to the problem. And forgive me for being a bit bitter over this, but in my experience, the best solution for dealing with a bully is...well, it's not exactly approved of in modern society.
Still, spoiler alert right now, that particular episode is going to be the subject of a future Vignette, and as much as I like Babs, I'm not going easy on her.
Perfectly understandable. I'll be interested to see what you do with her Vignette...
And hey, sometimes a bit of tough love is needed. Plus, I trust you not to bash her.

Unlike a lot of other people, I don't believe in being unduly cruel to young children, fictional or real. So yeah, she's not gonna have the Kraken released upon her, but she will not get it easy.
