Rambling About #1 - It finally happened!*

I know this is a silly thing. I KNOW it is. I know it's something that's become increasingly easier to achieve given the lower number of people in the fandom, but damn it if I'm not going to savor this little moment. After being on this website for almost 8 years, it happened.

I got in the featured box *after turning off the mature box check

    Why and UPDATE REALSIES

You ever get an idea? Okay, let me rephrase that—you ever get an idea so dumb, so stupid, so baffling that as you are writing it you instantly KNOW it's that bad? Well, I genuinely believe so, because people actually have a term for it with 'crackfics'.

School for New Writers Class — A Shilling Post For Those Who Want to Learn · 11:27pm Jun 6th, 2018

Lacking confidence in our writing is a very common thing among writers, and I'm sure a lot of us spend a lot of time thinking on how to improve—I know I do.

So, I'm doing something I've never done before and sharing the School for New Writers Class! Basically, this is going to be a monthly writing prompt contest in which you write a short 3000 to 5000 words story, but the main difference with many prompts is that you will be given some needed advice by the professors who take their time to do this over on the group, guiding you over the process and helping you become a better writer in return.

If you are interested in June's prompt, check out the link to find out more, and if you want to go check out the School For New Writers Discord, you can find it here: https://discordapp.com/invite/MhuYbYU

Note: I'm not a professor myself, I'm simply sharing this for anyone who would like to give it a shot.
