What would make you cry.

I'm talking about like something in a story? What would make you, as a reader, legitimately cry? For me have a very loved character die would be the best way to make me cry, or maybe something else tragic. Then again it doesn't have to be a sad cry it could be tears of joy, maybe seeing a character have a come back from a near defeat or even come back to life defying death it self.

Immortaly =/= sadness

This is one thing that constantly irritates me about Immortal Twilight stories, they always have Twilight become super miserable and depressed, or delve into dark magic to revive her friends. No Mane 6 in M&M

So I had planned to post the next chapter today, but by the looks of it I will have to postpone it. The chapter is shaping up to be much longer than I first imagined plus due to writers block and school I have made very little progress until today. I have well passed 2,000 words at this point and will likely pass 3,000 before it's finished. This will make it the longest chapter I have ever written to date so please bare with me. I will get it out as soon as I can reasonably get it out....

Though if you all really want me to post it today then I could easily split it in two chapters.

Tell me down in the comments what you think! Please comments help a lot!

Edit: I may have found the perfect stopping point! Also I was wrong it's just short of 2,000 words. The chapter is technically not over I decide that this chapter will be part one of two. The next chapter after this one will be a continuation of the same subconcept this chapter was.
