I've been getting a lot of comments on this story lately, people asking me to get back to writing it, people excited to see where it goes. Frankly, it astounds me. Simply put...I do not much believe any of my early writing on Fim was all that good. Both Forced Memories and Hypnosis One Shots were written when I was a naive, inexperienced writer who put things to paper without much consideration for them. Hell, I still don't think I'm that great a writer. And the reason I haven't picked up on either story is really simple....
I don't want my hypnosis kink dictating the story. Simple as that. I want to write to make my fans happy, but I am not comfortable with the current direction of this story. So...I want to ask the people reading this one, or who have been waiting. A question. I will continue with the story on it's current trajectory if you wish. OR, I can reboot it, doing it more as I hope so now.
I am trying to get back into writing. I can't promise I'll be successful, but I do want to try, for this AND hypnosis one shots. I apologize for making you all wait for so long. And writing will likely take a bit longer, due to the fact I have two essays due next week. So I need to focus on school work. Still, I'll let you all decide what becomes of this story.

On one hand, Forced memories didn't really seem “driven by your kink,” so I wouldn't be opposed to it staying the way it is. On the other, it'll probably end up a worse story overall if you were to force yourself to continue along a plotline you don't enjoy. So I think I'll vote in favor of a rewrite.
Do what I always do my friend and Reboot! I've rebooted my Kingdom Hearts story TWICE.....TWICE!!!!! The third time is the time I feel the most confirmable with....and even now I'm doing re-writes of early chapters with my Co-Writer!
So i say Reboot!

Have you tried freeing them from hypnosis after they are hypnotized earlyer?
I loved how things had been going with the story of "Forced Memories, Forced Mothers" but if you think that you can improve the story with the experience you have now then go for it!
I do think that that story was not driven by your kink regardless.

i agree it's up to you personally i look forward to whatever direction you take i also agree that your kink doesn't influence this story as much as you think i consider it a plot device to move your story forward i really like it but what you decide is best i'll still look forward to how the story plays out.
