I said Hexagons would update soon + moving again · 5:06pm Apr 8th, 2018
But it's really hard to focus on pouring my heart into something when my heart is also on fire at all times because of my roommates here. Now, I'm not saying I hate it here already, in Kansas, but I wanted to get away from the things that made me move here in the first place, and the grass was only slightly greener here — figuratively and literally.
And so I'm resigning from my job here and I'll be moving again, this time to Alabama. There's another great friend I have there who's kind of become someone much closer to me, in lots of ways. There's no doubt that the grass is going to be very green there, but also that way in terms of being able to cool myself down again: I've admittedly become angrier because of my roommates, and my co-workers, and their incompetence altogether. I'd like to live with someone who can act their age and clean up after themselves because I've been doing everything around this shitty house.
It'll be about two more weeks I'll be here, definitely; I can count a few more days, though. Grabbing my last fat paycheck and I'll likely be on my way via amtrak. Woohoo, another long train ride!
Good luck in the new location! Alabama is a nice state - and I only partially say that because I'm in the south now, too!
4836318 There are alligators there! And other stuff that could probably kill me! I won't let them, but wow, nature scary! Where are you at now?
4836538
Texas! Will probably be here until I figure out what I'm doing, where I'm going, and get my life back on track. It's good for the time being, though.
Oh yeah, so many new, nasty critters down here. Fire ants, for example. Never encountered them in the Midwest, wasn't sure if they were that bad. They are.
4836591 We had those in California and I never messed with them but I never really missed them. Are you...with someone, did you do this alone?

As embarrassing as it sounds, I temporarily moved back in with my mother. It's not permanent, though. Just need to figure out where I'm going and I'll be back on my feet and independent again! But I didn't move with anyone, no. Not "with" anyone, if that's what you mean.
The alligators won't get you, I promise. Besides, the snakes and spiders are the ones to watch out for.
4842183 How...big are the spiders? D:
4842338
Not that big. It's not the size that matters. I just worry about Brown Recluse and Black Widow spiders. Though in all my years here I've only seen one of the two, once.
4842372 Really? They might not be too consistent, then
