This book goes over helpful tips for outlining and plotting your story, and I realize I have been doing a bad job at just that. It took me way to long time to finish chapter two of MLP: Fim Reborn And Retold. Eh, it's out now so I did it. Now I need to focus on WoS. Chapter 9 and 10 will end the first arc of that story before the rest of the chapters will be time jumps through the years. Hopefully chapter 9 will be completed this week.
