I thought I would let you all know that the next update will probably be rather late. It's not because of a lack of motivation, that's there. It's not because of a lack of material to work with. Badninja made sure I had plenty to finish off the poison joke Arc with. It's not even becaus eI lack the time. I have that.
The problem is that I have bought new shoes. Mine developed the terminal disease of holes. And, as anyone who spends most of their times standing and move while at work will tell you, new shoes equal lots of pain and stress until you finish breaking them in. The only thing I want to do when I get home is toss the blighters in a corner and pass out.
Not only that, but what little work I have gotten done on the next chapter I decided to scrap and rework from the beginning. I had this idea of a scene where Celestia and Tender are working on analyzing the data from the crystal, and Tender gets a little too bold in speaking his mind about Twilight. Celestia responds as you'd probably expect.
I ultimately scrapped it as I have no underlying reason for Tender to dislike Twilight, and the reaction I had for Celestia seemed a little over the top. I still have the work saved in case I ever decide to revisit the issue, but there we go. Now I'm working on rehashing the scene without Tender getting the ever loving shit scared out of him by Celestia.
Now I got an idea on how that could be used without making Tender a jerk. Hopefully Twilight will be in an answering mood, if she want to spill her secrets at all.
