    My muse has returned

Finally, after 7 months since I had last touched my work, I have returned to it, reviewing and editing what I have in preparation for continuing and hopefully finishing the story (even though I have a good 45 chapters to go more likely than not).

    Come back muse, come back!

    Hello everyone

Mostly here to say I'm still around. It's a frustrating feeling knowing that my inner muse will not come back and help me work. I have the timelines figured for each of my existing works as well as the new dawn reboot (I am far too prone to them, I know), yet when it comes to writing on the chapter, my mind goes blank and then it just doesn't happen...

    Stress, so much stress

I'll spare everyone the longer drama, but a lot of things had been stressing me out lately, mostly car stuff (and a bit of in law stuff), and all of that should be behind. I may need to tighten my belt some, but considering I've been needing to lose a little weight anyway, it won't hurt.

It is Time... Planning a return. · 5:16pm Feb 14th, 2018

Update time everyone.

So, in some news, around the same time last year, when I announced the 'cancellation' of Mirror of Worlds, A lot of things were going on. Even outside of things between Silver Wing and I, I had a job that was failing, fears of going homeless, and all kinds of other emotions going around.

That has rather significantly changed. I have a mate, and while neither of us have proposed, we've already gotten to an agreement that we are not looking for anyone else, don't want to, etc. I have a stable job once more where he's at (living with him too), and have otherwise been enjoying my time.

What's this got to do with fimfic? Well, a few days ago a friend of mine, Scorch215, and I discussed a dream of mine that reminded him of "Your human and you" (which as of this moment the last update is one chapter left, 10k words written and one scene to write in that fic). It was dark, and I skipped some stuff because I get so emotional about things when attached, As I wait for the final chapter, I realized some of the feelings I've put all of you through. I keep wondering about the verdict of Max in that story, and many of you must be wondering what happens to Dawn, Silver, and the rest.

I am still in the early phases, but I am writing once more. That's right, Mirror of Worlds, provided I do set this baggage aside and focus on what made me want to write, the enjoyment of the readers, I will work on finishing what I started, and have the first fic I had ever finished.

What's even better? Well, let me put it this way. Scorch215 and I have been exploring a meeting of worlds. While both AUE, dealing with a TS who took longer to become an alicorn and had world hopped herself before coming back (I don't read it because of Scorch's understanding of how sensitive I am to Dark and playing with emotions, he doesn't want me to), who just so happens to land in Dawn's world shortly after the events of this story. It started as an RP... that is over 350k words long, not counting all the editing, storytelling additions, and so on, that we wrapped up a few months ago and have moved on to the next stage. Full disclaimer though, it may not be fully cannon sequel, as Silver's involvement is not present, but still.

That's right, I have a practically finished plot of a sequel outside of corrective editing and clarification, already in word. So, What I'm going to try, is dedicating two nights a week to the project. I get off work at 11pm, though I'm not home and settled till midnight more often than not. So, I'll work on the story for two nights a week and hopefully have a chapter every other week. If I'm finished with the chapter early, I'll work on cleaning up the sequel to make it ready for when the main piece is finished.

I hope you're all happy, because that's my element after all!
