Come back muse, come back! · 7:17am Dec 6th, 2020
Hello everyone
Mostly here to say I'm still around. It's a frustrating feeling knowing that my inner muse will not come back and help me work. I have the timelines figured for each of my existing works as well as the new dawn reboot (I am far too prone to them, I know), yet when it comes to writing on the chapter, my mind goes blank and then it just doesn't happen...
Life is stressful still, as one can imagine. Still need to find a new place away from the in-laws, which is predicated on the mate finding work... which is looking very difficult despite his 4.0gpa... My own work has its ups and downs and doesn't appear to be getting any easier for the agents we oversee. Being frank without giving away details, They're under so much stress from the job alone without sufficient benefits that I can't on a personal level blame them for abusing breaks and lunches and other phone off-call codes, but it's also not the job they are supposed to do so off I go marking when who does what...
I want to hope that helping someone with editing here recently will get me back into the mood to write, since sometimes it's something as simple as that to get the juices flowing, but I suspect the long term is that I will still be struggling to write for some more time till things settle down.
i for one will be here weighting and watching for updates to your grate story's and new story's coming out of your stable.

Thank you.
I'll say it again. Thank you.
I do what I can, sometimes more afraid than I should be that my effort won't be noticed or missed, but also afraid of wasting the time writing and not getting things posted. I know this slump will be surpassed eventually, it just seems to be taking longer than I want and my desire for being 'responsible' to my readers would wish.
Hoping things are going well for you as well.
